Why Donate To Us?
We are a wholly volunteer-run rescue based in Melbourne. We rely entirely on donations and sponsorship to continue our work. We do not have any paid staff, every cent goes directly to vet work, supplies and where it is needed most - the animals.
Sponsorship is a powerful way to support our cause, and we are incredibly grateful to all our sponsors. Monthly sponsorship has a greater impact because having consistent funding means we can act fast to rescue animals and get them the support they need immediately without having to wait for fundraising. The more regular donations we have, the more lives we can save. However, we understand not everyone has the capacity to be a monthly sponsor, and all one-off donations of any size are gratefully accepted. Every bit helps us to continue to save lives.
Saving the most vulnerable animals also means the highest vet bills. As an entirely no-kill rescue we go above and beyond for every animal we commit to. We will only ever euthanise an animal if there is no quality of life, it is highly recommended by our vet or if not doing so is deemed too cruel due to the prolonged suffering of the animal. Every single animal is worth fighting for and if there is a chance, we provide it. No matter the work, no matter the cost.
We are registered with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission) and are a deductible gift recipient. This means all donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will receive an invoice for tax purposes.
